CLIENT OBJECTIVES:
To develop a viable processing method to extract Monazite concentrates contained in existing stockpiles stored from previous Eneabba operations.

CHALLENGES FACED:
Integration of existing Iluka equipment obtained from other plants into the new operation, ensuring the necessary refurbishment was completed to meet the Plant standards and functional requirements.

Ensuring the electrical design evolved to meet the process requirements in response to feedback from initial trials.

Plant commissioning was completed in May 2020, with BEC continuing with remote support to the operations team following handover.

BEC are working with Iluka to design an overhead powerline to the Plant for grid connection and to remove reliance on the existing generators.
